Paul Pinsky

Welcome!

Last week the state legislature convened for a special session to repair the budget passed in April. I am pleased to report that the doomsday cuts to education (both k-12 and higher ed), important social services, and public safety have been reversed.  To stave off these cuts, income taxes will rise modestly for about 13% of taxpayers. Everyone else will be unaffected by the changes in income taxes. Click here for a chart showing the effect by county and also the change in rates.

Join me for Food, Friends, and a Fundraiser

Please join me and special guests including County Executive Rushern Baker on Thursday, May 31 from 6-8 pm at Riversdale Mansion in Riverdale Park. There will be good food, and many friends. View the full invitation here
